Cracks in the Bridge

Cracks have been found in the Jerusalem "Bridge of Strings" currently being built at the entrance to Jerusalem.

My recommendation is that the first people to ride the train over that section be the engineers themselves.

Food, Glorious Food

You gotta hand it to the Mayor.

Since he took over, he has made Jerusalem a fun (and tasty) place.

Again the city hosted the Annual Sukkot Food Fair at the Old Train Station. All the latest restaurants were hawking their wares (OK, selling their food). Music filled the air alongside the aroma of tens of different types of ethnic food - all kosher, of course.

The Malcha Technology Park Elevator

Last week I mentioned Free Things to Do with your Kids in Jerusalem and mentioned the elevators in the Malcha Technology Park Tower. But because we were having so much fun going up and down I forgot to take pictures.

This time I didn't forget.

That's the Malcha Train Station, and that is an actual train in Jerusalem (I'm not sure what it is doing there)!

The Beer Festival

The Jerusalem Train Station has a lot of history. These past few years the city has been using it for outdoor events (more fun than historical). Here are pictures from the Jerusalem Beer Festival (It's early so a lot of people hadn't yet shown up) with Live Music.
