I've got a secret

One of the most familiar sites connected to Jerusalem is the Tower of David Museum, which among other things used to be a fortress.

I haven't been there in a while, and I was happy to see that they uncovered yet another secret tunnel.

You can really get lost in this place with all the different passageways.

Another new edition to the museum is this recently discovered model of Jerusalem made in the late 1800s!

The Sounds and Lights of Jerusalem

The Tower of David has a tone of its own, flowing out of its ancient stones, beauty and history. It is an extraordinary blend of modernity and antiquity.

The tones of this fortress continuously change with the lighting, time and seasons, allowing us to make a new acquaintance with this ancient fortress and always treating us with brand new perspective.

I was there the other day with a friend. We started with parking the car at the shiny new parking lot at the new Mamila shopping center.

As we stepped out of the elevator on the shopping floor, we felt this special vibe and saw this incredible view of the old and new City of Jerusalem.

We walked into the Tower of David, and entered an amazing world of sounds and light; and a special special feeling of Jerusalem which cannot be explained, only experienced.
