I once heard a tour guide say that when Abraham went to Jerusalem, he stood on what is now the Tayelet in Talpiot and looked out at what would one day be the City of Jerusalem and Mount Moriah.
Having just stood there and looking at this amazing panoramic view of the entire city - I would say, it could very well be true.
